Ceop

The button on the left (or above on mobile) can be found on several pages of the Craven Minor JFL website, this button can be used by children to obtain advice and report a crime in a less intimidating way than by normal i.e phone calls to the police etc.

It can also be used by adults who may have a concern about a vulnerable child. Adults can also use the service if they feel they have found themselves in a vulnerable position.

Under NO circumstances must the CEOP button be used in an incorrect way otherwise it will be removed, thus preventing someone who may need to use it.

Bellow is an small explanation by CEOP on what they are trying to achieve with CEOP button

"The NCA’s CEOP button is here to help children and young people.

We are here to help if you are a young person and you or your friend (up to

age 18) has been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with

anyone online, or in the real world. We also have advice and links to

support for other online problems young people might face, such as

cyberbullying and hacking. Visit our Safety Centre for advice and to report

directly to CEOP, by clicking on the Click CEOP button"
